Blacklist International Continues Undefeated Streak Against Talon Esports In SEA DPC – AFK Gaming

Blacklist International vs Talon Esports: Match recap and highlights

Following Week One of the SEA DPC, Blacklist International are currently joint second place in the league alongside Bleed Esports and Geek Slate with two wins.

On the other side, Talon Esports are currently 5th in the standings following a win against BOOM Esports and a loss against Execration. However, a win against Blacklist International could put the organization into contention for a spot at the Lima Major.

Game One

The early game was fairly quiet, however Blacklist International were on the offensive in the early game as the duo of Marc “Raven” Fausto’s Lina and Carlo “Kuku” Palad’s Broodmother led the charge by constantly picking off Talon Esports’ heroes one by one.

However as the game progressed, Talon Esports managed to turn things around with a successful teamfight near the Roshan pit. While Blacklist International did attempt to delay the game long enough for its core heroes to hit their item timings, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Spectre went on a killing spree by perfectly utilizing his Haunt ability.

Game One ended after 41 minutes, with Talon Esports claiming first blood in the best of three series.

Game Two

Looking to even out the series, Blacklist International went all in on an aggressive draft by choosing the trio of Lifestealer, Ember Spirit & Broodmother while Talon Esports placed their faith once again on 23savage’s Spectre following his Game One performance.

However, things didn’t go as planned for Talon Esports as Blacklist International aggressively dominated the map with the mobility of Raven’s Lifestealer and Karl “Karl” Baldovino’s Ember Spirit.

Talon Esports were forced to play defensively for the rest of the game as the team only claimed one tower throughout the game while Blacklist International delivered the killing blow after 37 minutes as the series now comes down to a best of one.

Game Three

With the series now tied, both teams were looking to get the win over the other as a victory could put them in contention for a Major slot. Talon Esports went for a whole different draft, as it picked up Doom for 23savage and Pangolier for Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman while Blacklist International returned to the Lina as Raven’s hero.

While the early game was even between both teams as they traded kills and objectives, the mid-game saw Blacklist International slowly gaining the upper hand with amazing performances coming from Timothy “TIMS” Randrup’s Clockwerk as well as Karl’s Primal Beast and Raven’s Lina.

Going into the late game Talon Esports managed to turn things around as Blacklist International were unable to close the game past the 60 minute mark. However, a decisive teamfight at the Roshan pit saw Blacklist International delivering the killing blow after 1 hour and 7 minutes.
